Permission granted, Sis
Growing up, my brother and I would spend what felt like hours reading his comic books during my parent's Saturday afternoon nap.
I loved getting lost in worlds where there was a clearly defined good guy and bad guy; which totally tracks with my strong sense of justice. 🤔
The good guy always took the high road and the bad guy was mostly out for himself.
My favorite superhero was and still is Wonder Woman. Don't even get me started on her invisible jet, truth lasso, and bracelets! 🦸♀️
What always messes with my brain big time is when I'm doing all the good guy stuff, but am (in my opinion) treated like the bad guy.
You know what I mean?
✅ You channel your inner Wonder Woman and stay late to complete the project. 😵
✅ Are sick and still manage to get the paperwork done before the deadline. 🤒
✅ You keep the kids fed and alive on only four hours of sleep. 🥴
And yet, you don't even get a thank you. You don't feel seen or heard. 😔
May I give you a permission slip today? When you're spent, tired, and all around fed up, you don't have to be Wonder Woman and act like things are "fine."
You're already strong. You don't have to prove it to yourself or anyone else. 💥
Have that cry. Feel the feels. Because the sooner you can feel them, the sooner you can process them.
And if you're looking for a tribe of Wonder Women with ADHD who can totally relate to you, stay tuned for the Financial Goals with Soul tribe coming in May.
Learn how to tap into your ADHD superpower in a community of women just like you who are on a mission to reduce the daily ADHD overwhelm.
Stay tuned for more details.
Until next time! 🤗💞
